This training video teaches person-centered methods for making the bathing experience more enjoyable for both caregivers and the people they are bathing. The package includes an interactive educational CD plus an instructional lecture-demonstration, available in VHS or DVD format. This training offers 3 hours CEU’s for nurses and 2 hours of CEU’s for nursing assistants and administrators. Evaluating Progress
- The Culture Staging Tool
This is a web-based questionnaire by MyInnerView that can assess your nursing home in 12 domains commonly found in culture change homes. This tool could be used to evaluate the status of culture change in your organization and to generate a report indicating areas of progress and areas of growth. To access the tool, go to the site, click “log in,” enter username “guest” and password “guest”.
- The Artifacts of Culture Change
This free assessment collects information about the major concrete changes your organization has made to care and workplace practices, policies and schedules, resident autonomy and environment. It can help you to evaluate how far your organization has come and point to areas for future work.
